Wow i havnt posted for a year! So much has happened, and i have been so busy.
I just came across looking at my moms blog, and here i see my blog. its crazy to read all the stuff that happened last year. So much has changed!
I just got back from my 8th grade Washington DC Trip. It was amazing. At first i was a little nervous because some of the people on my bus were people i didn't really talk to. But now they are some of my closest friends! My room mates were Kylee and Deanna; friends from volleyball! They are hilarious. We just laugh and laugh and make new inside jokes about everyday. We woke up early and went to bed at night. I would try to sleep anywhere at anytime. Haha, i even fell asleep during a movie they showed us at a museum once.. whoops. We had our songs that we sang constantly. I took about 900 pictures! i did not want to forget this amazing trip. a few of my favorite places were the holocaust museum, The Naval academy school, Gettysburg and New York!
Holocaust museum was horrible. i couldnt believe what i was seeing. honestly i dont understand how EVIL and sick minded our country was. it hurt so much to see the faces of the people who suffered so much. They werent even treated like humans. I hated it. But i am so glad i saw this, or else i wouldnt have really understood what our country has been through.
I loved the Naval Academy school because of the building and all the awards, and i loved learning about their lives and the struggles and fun they had.
Getysburg, most people thought it was boring. But one of the main reasons it interested me so much was because it meant so much to my grandpa. He loved learning about those things and it was his passion. So learning and caring about it made me feel closer to him.
New York. ahh the buildings the lights, everything about it i loved. I could have dealed without the smoke and stuff but the whole vibe was awesome. Also we saw Lion King on Broadway :) I have all the songs stuck in my head forever. It was a blast and they were all soooo talented.
8th grade is going great! But i am going to be so so sad to leave Heights. It is the best school ever. Just thinking about leaving makes me get teary. I love heights and the people there so much.
